The company started its real-estate operations under the brand ‘Sunteck’ in the year 2000 as a ‘Grade A’ Corporate Business Centre service provider in one of India’s most promising commercial business districts viz. Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai, India. Subsequently, the company created an enviable rental portfolio by servicing Fortune 500 & Indian Blue Chip companies by providing plug and play offices to these companies who wanted to set-up offices in India.

In 2005, the company forayed into real-estate development by signing its first Joint-Development Agreement for a commercial property at Vile Parle, a prominent Western Suburb of Mumbai. It was in 2006 that the company did a unique acquisition in the commercial business district viz. Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for the first Residential project in the financial hub. This gave birth to its marquee brand, ‘Signature Island’ as it stands today. BKC being the commercial hub of Mumbai, makes the ‘walk to work’ concept come alive. The company bought two more land parcels on either side namely, ‘Signia Isles’ & ‘Signia Pearl’. With a clientele that comprises of the affluent business community and key decision makers in the corporate world, the projects have set a benchmark within the industry. Nestled in the neighborhood of renowned international educational institutes, hospitality services, corporate infrastructure together with socio entertainment premium clubs further adds to its premium.

Sunteck Realty Limited (listed on both Bombay Stock Exchange & National Stock Exchange) primarily focuses on the development of ultra premium and luxury residential properties in city-centric locations of Mumbai. Its development activities include multi-unit apartment buildings, block re-developments, planned communities and commercial spaces.

Presently, the company has over 36 million square feet of city centric developments, majorly in Mumbai across 26 projects and also 4 rented assets in its portfolio. Of these developments, more than 80% are into premium luxury residential segment and remaining into commercial segment.
